Proud to Represent Mongolia at the World Economic Forum 2025
This week, I was privileged to attend the annual World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, representing a significant historic milestone for Mongolia with the inauguration of Mongolia House at this esteemed event for the first time. The Mongolian delegation, led by Deputy Prime Minister Dorjkhand Togmid, participated actively in crucial meetings and events, showcasing our nation’s steadfast dedication to innovation, renewable energy, and sustainable development.

Strategic Intelligence Platform: Mongolia has become the second country worldwide to sign an agreement with the WEF to utilize its Strategic Intelligence Platform. This move is pivotal in harnessing AI-driven insights to inform and enhance our policymaking processes.
Renewable Energy Development: The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of Mongolia and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) represents a significant advancement. This agreement aims to implement 500 MW of solar, wind, and energy storage projects, driving our transition to clean energy.
Energy Export and Green Hydrogen: Another promising development involved signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Envision Energy Group. This partnership will focus on energy export of up to 10 GW, establishing 500 MW of storage capacity, and collaboration in developing green hydrogen technologies.
Strategic Partnerships: In our discussions with ministers from Saudi Arabia and the UAE, along with ACWA Power leadership, we examined numerous opportunities in energy export, green energy, and energy storage, further reinforcing Mongolia’s position as a regional energy leader
Why the WEF Matters for Mongolia
The World Economic Forum provides Mongolia a unique opportunity to draw investment, develop global partnerships, and share our vision with an international audience. By interacting with pivotal decision-makers and companies in a single venue, we can optimize time and resources, leading to lasting advantages for our country's development.
Let’s keep this momentum going and strive to establish a greener, more sustainable future for Mongolia!
