About ICA-Africa

ICA-Africa is the regional body of the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA), representing cooperatives across Africa. With a mission to promote and strengthen the cooperative model, ICA-Africa works to empower communities, advocate for cooperative values, and contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Role: Regional Director

As the Regional Director, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of ICA-Africa. Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Leadership: Overseeing ICA-Africa’s operations and ensuring alignment with its strategic objectives.

• Resource Mobilization: Driving fundraising efforts and securing resources to support the organization’s initiatives.

• Advocacy and Representation: Representing ICA-Africa at regional and global forums, advocating for cooperative values, and building partnerships with key stakeholders.

• Membership Growth: Expanding ICA-Africa’s membership base and strengthening its network of cooperatives.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining strong relationships with governments, NGOs, cooperatives, and other partners.
