EU Calls for Youth Delegates to Represent at the United Nations 2025-26

The European Union has introduced an exciting opportunity for young people to represent EU youth at the United Nations. Applications are now open for the EU Youth Delegates to the UN 2025-26 program. This initiative aims to amplify young voices, advocate for youth interests, and enhance participation in international decision-making processes.

What’s the Role?

The chosen Youth Delegates will represent EU youth at the United Nations General Assembly and other vital events in New York. Their duties encompass:

• Promoting youth priorities in peace, development, and human rights discussions. 

• Working alongside Youth Delegates from EU Member States and offering insights to the EU Delegation. 

• Connecting with National Youth Councils and youth networks throughout Europe. 

• Sharing experiences and activities via social media and podcasts.

This position provides emerging leaders with a distinct opportunity to shape global policies and amplify the voices of EU youth on the world stage.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify, applicants must:

• Be a citizen of an EU Member State.

• Be under 30 years old at the time of application.

• Have a strong interest in international relations, policy, advocacy, or youth engagement.

• Be available for up to 40 days yearly, including travel to New York and Brussels.

Applicants should submit their applications via their National Youth Councils by 28 February 2025, 17:00 CET.
